Volkswagen introduced the Taigun, an updated version of the concept presented at Auto Expo six years ago. The car doesn't have much in common with the version that saw the light of day in 2014. The front end gets narrower headlights and a new grille with chrome accents, and the Volkswagen logo is now larger. The similarity to the T-Cross is striking, but here we are talking about a larger version of the wheelbase, similar to the Chinese version of the VW SUV.
The taigun lacks the matte plastic protection that this type of model usually uses. They are replaced with shiny black plastic elements. An Aileron appears in the roof extension, and the rear lights are connected by a light ribbon and equipped with led technology.
Volkswagen is switching to a car with a length of 4.2 meters and a wheelbase of 2.65 meters. The Germans also mention a turbo petrol engine that will make the car accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 9.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 183 km / h.
