Skoda has published several design sketches with the new Octavia RS 2020 before the model's official debut, which will take place at the Geneva motor show next month. Standard versions of the new generation Octavia were introduced at the end of last year, but new performance models with the vRS logo will debut for the first time and with a hybrid version of the plug-in.
The new version promises to offer the most powerful group of powertrains that is already present on the Volkswagen Golf GTE. There will also be models with 2.0-liter gasoline and diesel engines that get even more power than its predecessor, producing 242 HP.
The combination of a 1.4-liter turbocharged petrol engine and an electric motor adapted to the DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission should produce almost 250 HP and 400 Nm of torque. However, the plug-in will be slightly slower than its gasoline-powered sibling, with a 0-100 sprint in about seven seconds.
The VRS TDI with a diesel engine is expected to use the same 2.0-liter engine as before, which produces 181 HP and 400 Nm of torque. However, changes to the engine ensure that the device complies with the latest emission rules.http://fiatforum.lv/http://fiatforum.lv/
